With the advent of companies like Uber Eats, Door Dash, and other venture-backed platforms that need continual growth revenue, the Internet has become somewhat of a minefield in finding real restaurants, local service companies, and quality products.

That’s why Discover Norwalk has turned to endorsing real businesses that provide outstanding services and products as part of a new series of articles highlighting why we’ve chosen a business as the best in their category. Unlike other media, or platforms like NextDoor, Facebook or Angies List. We can’t be gamed by fake reviews, or take money to create a badge of honor. These are the businesses that we use, our friends use, and through decades of word of mouth, we’ve carefully curated a list of go to businesses.

That’s not to say it’s all about longevity. We are like new businesses too. So if you run one, let us know.
